Hey, Im Matt! Im a destination photographer, traveler, and story teller based out of the Midwest. I’ve been photographing weddings for close to a decade now and love traveling the world documenting new people, weddings and the life around me. I call Minneapolis my home and share it with my beautiful wife, my feisty 4 year old daughter, and 2 pups Winnie and Murphy. When Im not behind the camera, most of my time is spent relaxing with my family on the lake, eating good food, or working on a new project at our home. Im into good coffee, good whiskey, interior design, old motorcycles, big dogs, the outdoors, quality time with people I love, and new experiences.

As a photographer, my goal has always been simple. I just want to create images that make you feel something. Images that give you nostalgia and bring you back to a place of happiness. Images that tell a unique story in a creative and honest way. No fluff, nothing contrived, just real.

If you connect with my photos in some way and share the same passion for life, I would love to meet you and learn more about your story. Thank you so much and looking forward to talking soon.

      Can we print through you?

While you do receive the print release with your finished photos, you can order high quality professional prints with me through your online proofing gallery provided.

Do you travel for weddings and engagement photos?

Of course! About half of my work is done in Minnesota and half around the country and internationally. I love seeing new places and telling unique stories in any location.

Do you have insurance? How about backup gear?

Yes and yes. Wouldn’t leave the house without it.

How many photos do you typically deliver?

Every wedding is unique and my main focus is telling the story of the day. That doesn’t always equate to an abundance of images. With that said, I typically deliver 500-800 edited images.

How long until we see our photos?

My typical time frame is between 6-8 weeks, but really depends on when you get married. If your wedding is earlier in the year, you see the photos sooner because you'll be first in the queue.
